Our guarantee is in addition to your legal rights and does not affect them:

(a) We offer a two-year guarantee and will make good a product manufactured by us which within 2 years of delivery and assembly is found to be defective by reason of faulty materials or workmanship.

(b) With regard to buildings with double glazed uPVC doors and windows, the hardware and moving parts are guaranteed for 12 months, the frames and glass are guaranteed for 10 years from the date of installation.

(c) For buildings with EPDM rubber roofs, the expected service life is 20+ years. We guarantee it for 5 years from installation.

In the unlikely event there is any defect with the new product and/or services the following shall apply:

(d) You should notify us in writing within 7 days of discovery of the alleged defect, giving full details.

If remedying the defect is impossible or cannot be done within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to you we will refund the price you have paid for the services.

In all other circumstances we will use every effort to repair or fix the defect free of charge, without significant inconvenience to you, as soon as we reasonably can. If we fail to remedy the defect we will remove and refund or replace goods manufactured by us.

We shall have no liability in respect of any defect and/or consequential loss or damage arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence on your part, abnormal conditions including storm damage, failure to follow our instructions regarding maintenance and/or specification, failure by you to provide adequate basework that meets our criteria for a building, misuse of the goods, alteration and/or addition to the goods made by you.
We shall have no liability for any defect if the total price for the goods has not been paid by the due date for payment.
Timber is a living material affected by changes in climatic conditions. We shall have no liability for shrinkage, cracking, warping and other similar defects occurring after delivery.
The guarantee does not cover any product that has been re-located by you or others from where we originally installed it for you.
The guarantee does not cover any product installed by anyone other than ourselves.

A&J Guarantee

Your garden building is covered for 12 months from the date of delivery (excluding ex-display buildings) for any manufacturing defect and workmanship. Excluding glass breakages, accidental damage, wood shrinkage and movement including door expansion due to weather conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
